For sale is a Ford Mk2 Cortina 1600 GT 2737E6015A Xflow Engine. Early Xflow Engine with Lotus wide front bowl Sump. Comes exactly as seen in the photos. Has had a complete strip down, clean up and overhaul. The work done is as followed.

Completely stripped, cleaned and heat painted block and head. New bottom end bearings and thrust washers. Shotblasted and gloss black powdercoated sump and rocker cover. All new gaskets and seals from top to bottom. Reseated valves with new valve stem seals. Complete strip down and refurb of 32/36 Weber Twin choke carb. New Inlet and exhaust manifold studs and nuts. Various new nuts and bolts. Shot blasted and heat painted 4-2-1 exhaust manifold. Oil pump stripped, cleaned and oiled. Distributor stripped and clean with new dizzy cap, points and condenser. Engine pulleys, Crank covers, Thermostat housing all shotblasted and painted. I do have pictures of all the work done on the engine, so I can send some over if needed. Great engine, very rare to find the early 273 block.
